From my shell, bright blue parrots take flight—joyful, playful, and full of energy.There is also a famous play about the search for the blue bird of happiness. A person travels the whole world to find it, and in the process, discovers that the journey itself makes them happier.The golden burst in the background of my painting captures the very moment when happiness and pleasure are born.I imagine this work could live beautifully in a bedroom. Because not everything has to be shown in obvious ways—sometimes it’s better when meanings remain subtle.
